Our current project, Chakuwama Mpya, is the construction of a new location in Mwasonga, Kigamboni. This will be the future home to the primary school aged children of Chakuwama. It is designed in family units with bedroom groupings of 2 ( 8 children per group) to support the development of strong relationships following my indiscriminate friendliness research. The location will start with a capacity of 32 children, but will expand in the future. Additionally, a pre-primary school will be built on site to offer a free education to young children, and make the orphanage self-sustainable. Due to the recent fire, the completion of this project is urgently needed.
